Meet Our Project Partners: Future Cast (Ireland)

Future Cast – CoHER project lead, is a not-for-profit organisation based in Manorhamilton, North-West of Ireland, dedicated to innovation, education, and research in the construction and quarrying industries. We specialise in Industry 4.0 training – from 3D printing and robotics to AI and smart technologies – helping companies and learners adapt to a fast-changing world  of work.

At the heart of our work is a strong belief in inclusivity. Through our Women in Construction Steering Group we actively address the barriers women face in entering and building careers in the sector. We are already involved in projects that empower women in traditionally male-dominated fields, and this experience makes us proud to lead the CoHER project, where we can combine technical innovation with social change.

We also bring a very strong national network in Ireland, which allows us to create a powerful mentorship framework within CoHER to support women at different stages of their learning and careers. Our goal is to help shape a sector that is not only innovative but also fair, diverse, and welcoming to everyone.

Quote from the CoHER Project Coordinator, Future Cast:
“For us, education is more than skills – it is a pathway to equity and empowerment. With CoHER, we want to ensure that women in construction are not just participants but leaders, mentors, and role models who inspire lasting change in the industry”.
