This educator-focused training prepares VET teachers and trainers to teach leadership & assertive communication for women in Construction.

The program equips educators with the pedagogical tools and confidence to guide learners through assertive communication, leadership strategies, and resilience-building in male-dominated construction settings. It emphasizes both content mastery and facilitation skills, ensuring trainers can create safe, inclusive, and empowering classroom environments where gender stereotypes are challenged and learners practice authentic leadership behaviors.

Educators will:

  • Gain practical strategies for teaching assertiveness and leadership in construction contexts.

  • Learn to design and facilitate role-play, scenario-based exercises, and reflective activities.

  • Develop confidence in managing sensitive discussions on gender bias, microaggressions, and workplace stereotypes.

  • Create an educator’s toolkit with adaptable methods, feedback rubrics, and classroom strategies.

  • Be prepared to deliver the mini-course with a focus on empowerment, inclusivity, and practical skill-building
