Which digital platforms and tools should construction students learn first to be competitive in the job market? What has been most useful in your studies or work so far?

I think students should first learn the basics of Excel and how to write proper professional emails.
These are simple skills that can be useful in almost any job and show that you have a solid foundation. If a specific program or platform becomes necessary later, you can always focus on learning it in more detail.
