On the 17th of April, 2026, within the framework of the international project ConstructHerFuture, a motivational meet-up titled “Career in Construction: Challenge, Responsibility and Freedom of Choice” was held at Lutsk National Technical University. The event was delivered for students of the Faculty of Architecture, Construction and Design by Tetiana Myshliaieva, founder of the company Zodczi Projekt (Warsaw, Poland).
The meet-up became a platform for professional discussion and rethinking the prospects of the modern construction sector. The speaker shared her experience starting her own business and emphasised that professional success depends not only on knowledge but also on the ability to adapt to change and to effectively apply both hard and soft skills — including teamwork, creativity, decision-making, and communication.
A wide range of career opportunities in the field was also presented, including architects, engineers, and interior designers, as well as BIM coordinators, urban planners, project managers, and technical consultants. Participants received practical recommendations on building their careers by identifying personal priorities and taking proactive steps during their studies.
Special attention was given to the role of women in construction and the importance of their more active participation in line with current labour market trends.
The event contributed to shaping students’ professional vision and once again highlighted the importance of combining the educational process with practical experience in training future specialists.
