Across Ukraine, young women are discovering that construction offers more than one way in: from short taster days to paid internships and structured apprenticeships. As part of the CoHER (ConstructHer Future) project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, we’ve been mapping real, accessible opportunities for students and young women interested in the sector.
Here’s what’s currently available:
- LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY “VOLYNPRESTIGEPROJECT” (LLC VPP) — Company visit, introduction to construction design and preparation of project and cost-estimate documentation, Student internship
- PRIVATE ENTERPRISE “AVTODORSERVIS”— Company visit, Job shadowing, observation of design and cost-estimating activities, Student internship
- LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY “TOLA DORPROEKT” (TOLA DORPROEKT, LLC) – Company visit and Student internship
Why these matters: practical experience — even a single day of shadowing — is one of the clearest ways to find out whether a construction career is the right fit, and it’s often the deciding factor for employers when hiring.
