As part of the Erasmus+ ConstructHer Future project, Fundacja “Fundusz Inicjatyw” (FFI) carried out piloting activities within Work Package 3: ConstructHer VET Educator Training and Development and Work Package 2: ConstructHer VET Curriculum Development and Reform. These actions played an important role in testing innovative teaching tools and curriculum content designed to strengthen inclusivity, leadership, and professional empowerment in the construction sector.
Within WP3 Activity 3 – Innovative Teaching Tools and Methodologies Pilot, FFI engaged eight professionals from the construction and infrastructure sector. Feedback was collected through two online questionnaires and a dedicated feedback session, enabling both independent and guided evaluation of the tools.
Results confirmed strong relevance and practical applicability to Construction VET teaching. Tools such as Miro, Conceptboard, FigJam, Notion, Asana, and Nextcloud were highlighted for supporting visualization, documentation, and teamwork, while the VIRTEC house simulation was especially praised for its accessibility and ease of use. Participants also underlined the importance of these tools for developing digital skills needed in modern construction, while recommending broader access, reduced costs, and ready-to-use learning resources—particularly to support women entering the sector.
FFI also conducted piloting under WP2 Activity 4 – Curriculum and Mini-Courses Pilot Testing, focusing on leadership, assertive communication, and holistic professional skills for women in construction. Two sessions were held—one online in October 2025 and one on-site in Lublin in November 2025—with a total of 22 students. The tested content covered communication frameworks, conflict resolution, influence strategies, and responses to bias in male-dominated work environments.
Participant feedback was highly positive. All respondents found the content clear, engaging, and strongly connected to real workplace situations. Practical exercises and role-play simulations were particularly valued for building confidence and immediately applicable skills, reinforcing the importance of inclusive, empowerment-focused curriculum design.
Overall, the piloting activities confirmed the strong potential of ConstructHer Future outputs to improve Construction VET, promote innovative teaching practices, and support women’s professional development in the construction sector.
